The women’s volleyball team faced Newcastle Stafford College Group in the second round of the Women’s Knockout Cup. After receiving a bye in the first round, this was their first competitive outing of the season, making the result difficult to predict.
Despite the challenge, the team showed impressive teamwork and spirit, thanks to consistent training with Coach Marcus since the start of the year. Newcastle Stafford brought a strong, experienced squad and quickly took control, winning the first set to lead 1–0.
Undeterred, our players fought back in the second set, displaying resilience and determination. However, the opposition extended their advantage to 2–0. Even with two sets down, our team’s heads never dropped—encouragement flowed from both players and supporters throughout.
