The Pathways Department held their first Employability Event to celebrate host employers and student achievements in May 2018.
Baking started in earnest that morning thanks to Mrs Kelly’s unwavering support with our students whenever catering is involved. With help from Ms Kelly, guests were spoiled with homemade iced lemonade, banana bread, oatmeal cookies and shortbread.
The Department’s ethos is to enable students with additional needs to develop into confident, independent young adults who positively contribute to the community through work and education. Students learn and develop skills to enable them to enter the world of work after finishing college.
The department has won Fair Train’s Gold Standard National accreditation for the third year running. This means that they provide excellent quality internal and external work placements for their students.
