During one of the coldest nights in November, sixteen brave Loreto students and five sturdy members of staff (two of the latter pictured above: Mrs Kambouris and Mr Ashmore), slept outside on college grounds to raise money for Cornerstone, the local homeless day centre. With just sleeping bags and gazebos for shelter (pictured left), they braved the cold with the temperature dropping to minus 1 degree, to raise both awareness and funds for this great local charity. This was the first time that the annual sleep out actually took place outdoors, raising over £3000 in the process.
