Before half term, Loreto politics students had the incredible opportunity of hosting Rt Hon John Bercow MP, Speaker of the House of Commons. Arranged by Nick Brown, a dedicated member of the Politics Society and ex member of the Youth Parliament, the Speaker travelled from London for a Q&A session.

Students and staff alike were delighted as Mr Speaker answered questions ranging from the legitimacy of the EU referendum to the Prime Minister’s pay packet! Encouraging students to work hard for what they believe in, he was truly inspirational.
