Loreto College continued with its tradition of raising funds and collecting donations for Cornerstone, a local charity run by the Catholic Diocese of Salford, that supports local people who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.

The annual Sleepout for Cornerstone took place earlier this month, when 23 students and 4 members of staff braved the elements and spent the night outside. They slept on cardboard on the grounds of the College, with a gazebo for some cover. So far they’ve raised over £1500 of much needed funds for the homeless charity.

We are truly blessed with very generous students and staff at Loreto, who demonstrated their generous spirit and commitment to the Mary Ward value of Justice, by donating food, clothes and other essential items for Cornerstone.

Well done to everyone at Loreto who supported this campaign!
