Khiara’s career at Manchester City has continued to develop since leaving Loreto College, where she studied Sport, in 2022.  Whilst she was at Loreto, she made her league debut against Aston Villa and in January of this year she went out on loan to Coventry until the end of the season.  But due to an injury to Sandy Maciver, Khiara was recalled to City and featured three times in the final five games of the season.  She is clearly well thought of at the club as she was awarded the Club’s Rising Star award for 2022/23.

She was handed her opportunity to start as first choice goalkeeper at the start of the new season and she has played for the first three Women’s Super League fixtures.  She particularly impressed in the 1-1 draw with last year’s champions Chelsea, where she was named player of the match.

Khiara has represented England at different age groups, but on Tuesday it was announced that she has received her first senior call up for the England Women’s team for a pair of UEFA Women’s Nations League matches against Belgium.

This is fantastic news for Khiara and very well deserved, everyone at Loreto is watching her progress with great pride.
