Early October saw another successful DofE Gold final expedition in Glenridding in the Lake District. Twenty-seven upper sixth students successfully navigated their way up some high hills, through muddy fields, and battled strong winds and heavy rain.

Despite the continuous downpour over four days the students continued their expedition with smiles on their faces and a spring in the step, working as a team in the first aid scenarios, camp craft skills and making survival bracelets.

Well done to staff and students for a truly challenging expedition.
