The 2026 cohort of Aspire to Teach students has successfully graduated from their programme with flying colours.
At their graduation ceremony, the students were amazed to receive a letter from The Principal, Mr Jaffrain (standing at the back of the picture), which gave them a guaranteed interview at Loreto for a suitable post to commend and recognise their hard work and commitment across their two years on the Aspire to Teach enrichment. They have shown commitment, organisation and immense enthusiasm throughout their two years on the programme, fostering a willingness to learn and grow into future educators. All students have engaged with both primary and secondary school placements, completed teaching activities, and developed a range of skills and knowledge. The group have had training sessions on leadership, safeguarding, metacognition and beyond – preparing them for their future. Students are going on to study a range of University courses, including, but not limited to, Education and Mental Health, Primary Education with QTS, and Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American Studies.
