Celebrating Success: Loreto College Class of 2025 Certificate Evening

Loreto College proudly welcomed back the Class of 2025, along with their families, governors, and guests of honour, for a memorable Certificate Evening.

Guests were treated to live music from the college jazz band, led by Mr Graham South, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the evening.

Principal Michael Jaffrain addressed the audience, reflecting on Loreto’s core values of joy and excellence, and encouraging graduates to continue shaping a compassionate and hopeful world.

A highlight of the evening was the keynote speech by alumna Tallulah Sutton (née Eyres), a former Loreto College student and PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge (pictured left with the Principal and Deputy Principal, Andrea Pritchard). Tallulah shared her inspiring academic and professional journey, demonstrating how Loreto College and the Loreto values made transformational changes to her life, and encouraged graduates to be bold and aspirational.

Certificates were presented to all graduates, followed by the prestigious Cerys Martin Award for Resilience, awarded to Hamza Mahmood. This special recognition, given by Cerys’ brother Nathan, honoured determination and strength in overcoming challenges.

Closing the evening, Mr Price, Senior Manager, shared a quote from Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure: “Our doubts are traitors, And make us lose the good we oft might win, By fearing to attempt.”
