Below are some of the stories of former Loreto students who have progressed onto Apprenticeship, Employment and Supported Internships
Maisie - Class of 2023
Subjects Studied at Loreto: A Level Media Studies, BTEC Performing Arts, A Level, English Literature
Reflections on Loreto:
“I don’t think I fully appreciated just how many opportunities an apprenticeship could lead to. It gave me the experience and confidence to progress in my career, and I’ve continued to learn and develop since then”.
After Loreto:
“After finishing my 15-month marketing apprenticeship at Hunter Price, I decided to stay with the company for two years, gaining valuable experience in marketing and brand. This gave me a really solid foundation to build on before moving into my current role at MYCOM Group, where as Senior Content & Social Executive, which I’m really proud of. I’m now developing my role further by getting more involved in the strategic side of social media and brand, looking at how we grow our online presence, build engaged communities and bring our brands to life both online and in person”
Victoria - Class of 2017
Subjects Studied at Loreto: A Level Business, A Level Economics, A Level Geography
Reflections on Loreto:
“Back in 2017 degree apprenticeships were not a traditional route and I can only thank my younger self for not listening to others and closing off this route because I’m confident I wouldn’t be where I am without it
I regularly visit Loreto to speak to students about my career journey”
After Loreto:
“I went on to study a 4 year Degree Apprenticeship at Barclays . I am currently working as a Senior Commercial Analyst at Barclays”. Victoria regularly visits Loreto to speak to students about her career journey
Ibrahim
“I’m in my second year of the Technology Consulting Degree Apprenticeship at PwC. I’ve been nominated for multiple apprenticeship awards including making it as a finalist in the biggest apprenticeship award across the UK. I have authored my first book “Mapping your Future: The Free Degree” and have helped hundreds of other students secure apprenticeships. I have also been heavily involved with making an impact with the WeLoveMCR charity”. I’m very passionate about the apprenticeship route.
