Reflections on Loreto:
“I loved my time at Loreto. The teachers were supportive and I wouldn’t be where I am today in my nursing career if it wasn’t for Loreto! My advice for students is to Embrace every moment, work hard, and make it your own. Enjoy your time at Loreto because it goes so quick!”
After Loreto:
“I left Loreto and went to university in Liverpool and studied Mental Health nursing, graduated and got my first newly qualified nurse job! I then applied for a role as a Deputy Ward Manager and was successful. After 3 years of being a DWMN, I went back to university to complete my Non Medical Prescribing, a masters module! Qualified as a non medical prescriber and continued to work in inpatients. I then applied for Trainee Advanced Clinical practitioner role and successfully got the job and went back to university to study my master qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice!”
