Below are some of the stories of former Loreto students who have progressed onto Creative Arts, Languages and Media
Gemma - Class of 2018
Subjects Studied at Loreto: A Level French, A Level German, A level Theology, Philosophy & Ethics
Reflections on Loreto:
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time studying A level German and French at Loreto from 2016-18. Before starting at the college, I already knew that I wanted to study languages at university, but the enthusiasm and support from my teachers, as well as my enjoyment of the subjects at A level, cemented that decision for me. The soft skills I developed during both courses, such as independent learning skills, greater cultural awareness, and resilience, have been invaluable in everything I have gone on to do since leaving the college”.
After Loreto:
“I studied German and Russian at the University of Cambridge, worked in a boarding school in Cambridgeshire as a UCAS tutor, PGCE German/French and am now working in a Sixth Form College in Brighton while studying part time for a Masters degree”.
