Course details

BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism is ideal for students who want to prepare for a Level 3 course and further improve their GCSE grades. You will be provided with current industry specific information and assisted with progression routes relevant to the travel and tourism industry. Assessment is a blend of coursework and exam components

Skills

You will develop personal, learning and thinking skills. You will learn to work both independently and as part of a team through group work activities, role-plays and presentations. You will improve communication skills and research skills.

Careers/Destinations

Students typically progress to advanced level courses at Loreto, university and then on
to careers in the travel and tourism industry. Some students decide to progress directly to employment. Possible careers include airline cabin crew, overseas representative, cruise ship, hotel industry, tour operator and travel agent.
