A new venture for 2017, Loreto College has developed a set of awards for students, alumni and staff to acknowledge and reward their good work. Engagement in various activities which demonstrate Social Responsibility (exemplifying some of our core Loreto values) qualifies you to apply for an award.
The awards fall into seven different categories:
- Equality & Diversity
- Social Cohesion
- Faith Together
- Charity
- Community Action
- Internationality
- Above & Beyond (If you think your activity is one of ‘Social Responsibility’ but does not neatly fit into one of the above six categories, then please use this one.).
On Wednesday May 10th at 6 pm in College, Dr Elaine Storkey (author, speaker and tireless campaigner for social justice in several fields and with charitable organisations), will present the awards and speak at a celebratory event.
We hope many of our present community and alumni will not be shy in making an application.
