Following the roaring success of this year’s college musical : Legally Blonde in December 2017, the cast and crew decided to reunite to watch the professional touring production at Manchester’s Palace Theatre. The production was slick and highly energised, the company worked together wonderfully and Lucie Jones in the lead role of Elle Woods really made the part her own. Her comic timing was brilliantly executed and made the audience howl with laughter at several points during the show, almost competing with the coos and ‘ahhs’ offered when ‘Bruiser’ (Elle’s pet Chihuahua) appeared on stage! The entire audience were on their feet at the end of the show dancing along to an inspired remix curtain call using a medley of songs from the show. It was a trip enjoyed by all.
