Twenty enthusiastic AS and A2 Law students descended on London in March to observe cases in the Royal Courts of Justice. Here they listened to a case about contempt of court. During their visit the students were given a guided tour of the Supreme Court, where they were able to watch cases on fraud and child custody arrangements, before being shown around Inner Temple and listening to information about pursuing a career as a barrister. As well as all of this, we managed to take in the West End, watched Billy Elliot the Musical and did plenty of sightseeing around Parliament, London Eye, Downing Street and Buckingham Palace. A fantastic time was had by everyone!
