PE teacher Ms Gash, who led the trip, said the resort offered great instruction for both skiing and boarding and all students honed their skills throughout the week. “But it wasn’t all ski, ski, ski, during the evenings students took part in many ‘Apres Ski’ activities, including Bowling, Quiz night and a trip to an authentic Italian Pizzeria,” she said.
Nathan Hanna, an Upper Six student studying English Language, Politics and Classics said: “The Loreto Ski trip was a great active holiday with plenty of slips, trips and laughs! I have been on the ski trips for the past two years and have enjoyed them so much I now plan to take a gap year in Whistler, Canada to train to become a ski instructor.”
Students honed their skills with a trip to the Chill Factore before heading off to the Italian Alps. The planning for next year’s trip is already underway so look out for more details.
