Thousands of prospective students and their families enjoyed Loreto’s open days.

One visiting parent said of the open day, ‘The atmosphere was friendly and there were lots of staff around to answer all of our questions.’ Feedback from students was that, ‘the facilities are awesome’ and ‘I felt I could approach staff and ask all of my questions.’

Visitors to the college were able to see the state-of-the art facilities in the new Ellis and Kennedy building while the Ball building has been substantially upgraded with new labs, more spacious classrooms and extra cafeteria space.

There was also a chance to enjoy the greatly enhanced outdoor space which makes the most of the beautiful garden campus and to see energy-saving sustainability in action in the Ellis and Kennedy building where heat is generated with solar panels and an underground heat transfer system plus rainwater is captured to flush the buildings’ toilets.
