Open Day at Loreto

ImageImageLoreto opens its doors to show off some of the finest facilities in Greater Manchester on Sunday.

With its £20 million transformation complete the open day on Sunday 17th October is chance for prospective students –and parents - to have a look around.

Doors open from 11am to 2pm and friendly staff will be on hand to guide visitors on what the college has to offer. Teachers will also be available to outline the range of courses that are available, and to advise young people on what course of study would be best to fulfil their future ambitions.

ImageThe college now has state-of-the art facilities in the new Ellis and Kennedy building while the Ball building has been substantially upgraded with new labs, more spacious classrooms and extra cafeteria space.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the greatly enhanced outdoor space which make the most of its beautiful garden campus.

As well as seeing the excellent teaching facilities visitors will also be able to see energy-saving sustainability in action in the Ellis and Kennedy building where heat is generated both with solar panels and an underground heat transfer system and rainwater is captured to flush the buildings toilets.
