Loreto College Cleans Up!
Loreto has some of the cleanest cars in Manchester thanks to a charity car wash to help pilgrims to Lourdes.
Every year students from the college travel to the Catholic pilgrimage town of Lourdes to help with sick and disabled pilgrims.
Students worked hard to get cars spick and span to raise money to help cover the cost of pilgrim helpers: Jay Sanderson, Christina Walker, Nehal Thomas and Joseph Barlow, travelling to France.
Organised by College Chaplain Richard Howard and Bob the college gate man the car wash raised more than £200 and they’re planning to repeat the whole operation next week.
