Loreto college is delighted once again to have achieved excellent rankings across the government’s League Tables. Manchester students compete every year for university places with hundreds of thousands of students from across the country. 

Loreto’s significant achievement in producing excellent results, high grades and consistently above average performance in national and local league tables gives Loreto students an added advantage when applying to university. Loreto is the only sixth form college in Manchester, Salford, Oldham, Bolton, and Trafford which, year on year, has achieved A Level results above, national, regional and local averages for its students. Loreto has been officially declared, number 1 college nationally for Value Added. Typically Loreto Students receive 1-2 grades above other students, studying elsewhere, with similar grades at the beginning of their courses. This measure places Loreto above all the sixth form colleges in the region; the best in the Government league tables for contextual value added.
