Happy New Year!

ImageImageLoreto wishes all its Students, Parents and Staff a happy, healthy and successful 2011. Loreto College is open as normal and all lessons are restarting today 4th January 2011. Students and staff have arrived back this morning to a beautiful snow covered campus.

With exams beginning on January 10th 2011 students have their exam time tables online and can access them via eLoreto. As students settle into their final revision lessons and staff put on lunch time practice tests and revision workshops the study centres are filled with an atmosphere of hard work and the sound of highlighter on text books!
 
After the heavy snow fall before Christmas and the current situation with snow in other parts of the country the procedures for communicating any closures to staff and students are:
 
  1. A recorded message will be put on the answering machine which will state that the college is closed (or the college is open after a closure)
  2. The college website will be updated
  3. An e-mail will be sent to all staff and students
  4. Local media will be informed
