Easter Skiing in Italy

ImageImageWhile many of us were munching chocolate eggs Loreto students were off on an Easter trip to the Italian Alps.

The 12 students and two staff stayed in the 2006 Winter Olympic Village and skied the same slopes as expert slalom skiers. The beginners and more advanced skiers enjoyed great conditions and made the most of the Apres Ski.

Before the trip the lucky students also visited Manchester’s Chill Factore to get in shape for the slopes.

But Sports teacher Miss Gash said it had not just been “ski, ski, ski” in Italy.
“Some interesting techniques were on show at the bowling night, total lack of knowledge during the quiz (from the teacher's team) and plenty of amazing Italian cuisine for Pizza night.

She said the week was rounded off with a presentation and disco...
“the boys dancing was a particular highlight!” she added.
