Loreto Chorlton goes from strength to strength

ImageLoreto Chorlton was relaunched in September 2007 and was incorporated into the Loreto family of schools.

Principal of Loreto College, Ann Clynch, was nominated as the Strategic Director and along with other members of the Loreto international community has seen the school go from strength to strength. In 2009 Loreto Chorlton was named as the most improved High School in the region for both results and attendance and in 2010 90% of students gained 5 GCSE passes A*-C (42% including English and Maths).

Demand for places at the school far exceeds supply and the Manchester Evening News recently reported that 'Teachers at the Nell Lane school also credit a link-up with nearby Loreto Sixth Form College - ranked one of the best in the country - for the improvement in their fortunes.'
