Christmas party for the homeless a seasonal success

ImageImageLoreto’s most entertaining students helped to make the college’s annual Christmas party for the homeless a massive seasonal success.

Residents from Mary and Joseph House enjoyed a Christmas meal cooked by Loreto catering staff and were captivated by the latest winners of the Loreto’s Showcase talent show.

The joint winners of the Showcase contest, Nischal Rai and Katherine Gammon helped to make the event extra special. While Nischal got everyone to sing-a-long to his performance of Beatles classics, Katherine intrigued the audience with her amazing magic tricks.

Mr Carberry, who organised the party, said the residents had a fantastic time and the students gained as much by sharing the joy of Christmas. “Our students are so keen to help we had so many eager volunteers who worked very hard to make the party a great event for everyone from Mary and Joseph House,” he said.

Mary & Joseph House provides a safe, caring and stable environment where men looking for assistance in getting back on their feet can access the support they need.
